This project aims at implementing an interactive visualization tool which allows the physicians to diagnose and to support pre-surgical planning in patients with cortical lesions. Our software uses advanced technology of Direct Volume Rendering based on GPU providing an interactive interface for exploring the human brain with a 3D cursor. It comprises planar and curvilinear cropping, erasing of samples 3D, length measurements, customizable 1D transfer function and two dynamic query tools: probe and lens.
